Description:
EOD SCHOOL SPT TEAM A UK/US/Fr Joint EOD school will be established with the Tunisian Armed Forces from Jan 15. Originally a US funded project, this proposal aims to harness all EOD donors into one project to optimise efficiency of funding and international effort. The school will be goverened by a Joint EOD Working Group. The UK will provide the 3-Core Staff for the first 12 months to provide EOD and C-IED specialist knowledge, course design and coordination. The school will be supported by US National Guard Teams surging from USA for 3 x 5-week courses per year. For the remainder of the year, other international partners will deliver courses to the Tunisian MOD and MOI using the same equipment and facilities. The focus will be to build on previous ?get well packages? focussed on the circa 65 operators to developing a sustainable training pipeline for EOD and C-IED specialists supported by All Arms awareness across the Tunsian MOD and MOI.
