Objectives: Support the disposal of obsolete ammunition stockpiles and strengthening the Tunisian Armed Forces’ (TAF) life-cycle management capacity.
Phase 1: development of a demilitarisation plan that will cross reference decommissioned ammunition types, ammunition quantities, locations, disposal solutions and potential costs and funding sources.
Phase 1 will also assess the TAF’s ammunition stockpile management capacity and identify potential areas of support.
Duration: Launched in January 2023, phase 1 is estimated to last twelve months.
